Le Sauce & Co is a small but growing consumer package goods company out of San Antonio, TX. Their products can currently be found on Amazon and at HEB grocery stores in Texas. Soon they will have distribution throughout Walmart and Kroger as well.

Over the last 2 years, I have worked with Le Sauce & Co on several projects, including a new more appealing website, social media imagery, PowerPoint presentations and templates, package design, and more.

Each new project has been approached with an eye to maintaining the brand standards, both aesthetically and emotionally. In addition to using brand colors, fonts, etc, we have worked to showcase a product that is approachable and easy to use, while also being a bit "upscale".

​

To that end, the website and social media imagery involve ordinary people cooking at home, and illustrates the point that anyone can create a delicious gourmet meal in under 10 minutes and with little prep or effort.

For the package redesign, my first involvement came when the client wanted to switch from a 4-serving size to 2-servings. This required some adjustment to the size and shape of the packaging, as well as adding the 2-serving icon.

 

After that we collaborated on how to make more clear the brand (Le Sauce), what it is (Gourmet Finishing Sauce), and what the flavor is (ie. Classic Green Peppercorn). This involved some repositioning and resizing of the imagery, logo and descriptive text.

 

Finally, a different color "ribbon" was added to the top of each package, which corresponds to the color chosen for the flavor name, so that the choices would be more easy to differentiate for the user.

After designing everything out as a flat image for printing, I created package mockups for the client to present to potential businesses and consumers.
